A Passion for Paper: 1958 to 2002 / These wonderful handpainted paper doll clothes were my first passionate experience with paper in the summer of 1958. I remember tracing around each doll and painting the clothes as my first artistic experience. My mother saved the paper dolls while my brothers' comic books went to the paper drives of those days.

Migrants and The Waves finish this important debut of my formal work and honor the completion of my 1000 cranes.
